The Dolomites is a region renowned for its dramatic alpine landscapes and is among the most photographed landmarks of the 21st century. This popularity presents both opportunities and challenges for visual storytelling. Capturing such well-documented beauty is not easy, it requires moving beyond conventional representations to explore new perspectives and compositional approaches. As a photography student at the beginning of my journey, this trip became an exercise in seeing the familiar with fresh eyes and experimenting with my own visual language in a place already filled with iconic images.
