(Hidden in Plain Sight)
Marrakesh is truly a visually striking city. The harsh sunlight creates strong contrasts, and the buildings, mostly painted in warm tones like orange and red, give the streets a vivid, almost surreal quality. But despite how photogenic the city is, taking photos there isn’t always easy. Many people are uncomfortable being photographed and often express their boundaries clearly.
This photo series presents a selection of street scenes captured during a brief visit. Some images focus on everyday life, while others highlight the textures, colors, and quiet corners of the city, moments that often go unnoticed, yet reveal just as much about the place.
